G.U.S.T.O. (Group for the UserS of The Oakleaf)

GUSTO is Oakleaf’s service user group; it enables clients to actively participate in the development of services. GUSTO representatives participate at Board level thereby providing essential feedback to Trustees. The User group has a social aspect with organised events such as, day trips, parties, ten-pin bowling. In addition, GUSTO produces and distributes a regular newsletter which showcases the talents and interests of the clients that contribute to each edition. The newsletter, which is produced in Oakleaf’s IT department, is also packed with useful information about places to go and things to do. People who no longer use Oakleaf services can stay in touch with GUSTO for support and advice.
