Additional Support

At Oakleaf we believe that a combination of  training and support can help people rebuild their lives, which is why we provide additional services such as counselling, hypnotherapy and advisory sessions.

Through a collaborative relationship with the University of Surrey we have gained the support of  counsellors  on placement who are  undertaking a PsychD in Psychotherapeutic & Counselling Psychology. They join us for 2 days per week. Sessions are free to clients attending Oakleaf, and you can book hourly sessions  each week through the client services department or through Clive, our CEO.

Oakleaf is also supported by a Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer who will provide advice on how to clear debts and energy bills arrears. You can make an appointment to see them on their weekly visits by speaking to your client services adviser.

Ever heard of an achievement specialist before? Well it’s exactly as it sounds – a volunteer to help you achieve your goals, whether it be: overcoming a phobia; managing your anger and stress; controlling anxiety and fears; or beating addictions. Fiona has been working as an achievement specialist for many years and has decided to volunteer her time to support Oakleaf clients. She will be at our training centre for 1 day a week, and you can book an appointment to see her through the client services department. Find out more about Fiona here.
