Activities for Clients

Here at Oakleaf we have various different activities, groups and workshops that you might like to get involved with. It might be to learn new skills, find a new hobby, or just to meet new people and get out and about. Have a look at the schedule of events below to see what is going on this month.

We currently host activities in Guildford Town Centre, North Guildford, Waverley and Surrey Heath. You may also download the full calendars here. (Please note that the calendars are on 4 pages)

Colouring is a great way to introduce yourself to mindfulness. Join us in the Art Room for an afternoon of peaceful thinking, colours, mellow music and positive energy.

Mindful Colouring

Mindfulness in Godalming
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment, using techniques like meditation, breathing and yoga. It helps us become more aware of our thoughts and feelings, so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, we are better able to manage them.

Practising mindfulness can give people more insight into their emotions, boost their attention and concentration and improve relationships. It’s proven to help with stress, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviours, and can even have a positive effect on physical problems like hypertension, heart disease and chronic pain.

The sessions will be held every Tuesday at Café Mila in central Godalming.
NO COST – sessions are free
Everyone welcome, come along to help you manage stress, anxiety or anger better.
