Upholstery Training

Upholstery is a very therapeutic practice, which involves:

  • Restoring modern and traditional furniture
  • Re-covering pieces such as: sofas, armchairs
and dining chairs in new fabric

Oakleaf has developed its own course which is overseen by the Association of Master Upholsterers. You, our client, will work towards either a level 1 (beginners), level 2 (intermediate) or level 3 (advanced). These will provide you with experience and qualifications recognised by the upholstery industry. After completing the course you should be sufficiently skilled to join an upholstery firm or perhaps start your own business restoring furniture.
