Horticulture Vocational
Training
For people who
prefer to work outside, the horticulture project provides
an opportunity to learn different aspects of gardening.
With the support of qualified staff, clients provide a gardening
service to customers in Guildford and surrounding areas.
At Merrist Wood Guildford College, clients can take a two
year part-time course in Amenity Horticulture and earn a
nationally recognised qualification; they can also opt to
take the NPTC qualification in-house.
The theoretical
training offered by the college is enhanced through the
practical application of day to day work with the constant
guidance and support of a qualified member of staff.
