Activities for Clients

Here at Oakleaf we have various different activities, groups and workshops that you might like to get involved with. It might be to learn new skills, find a new hobby, or just to meet new people and get out and about. Have a look at the schedule of events below to see what is going on this month.

We currently host activities in Guildford Town Centre, North Guildford, Waverley and Surrey Heath.

All sessions take a similar format and begin with a short check in and warm up, followed by simple and creative movement tasks, often involving music and props. Verbal reflections and written/ drawn reflections will also be incorporated for clients to track their own developments during the session and towards the end, where a short closure will follow.

No dance experience is required whatsoever! Added benefits of the sessions aim to improve body awareness, confidence and self-esteem, alongside getting endorphins flowing and at times gently increasing physical fitness.

Some people find a personal spiritual side to it, others use it for relaxation and strengthening the body and mind.

It is never too late to start learning Tai Chi. You will be amazed with what you can achieve in a short space of time!
