We are recruiting for a qualified chef to cook nutritious meals at our evening Guildford Wellbeing Café.

The role will be 4 hours a week on a Monday evening.

The purpose of the Wellbeing cafe is to fill a gap in services for those who may be experiencing mental health difficulties and who would like to join others to socialise in the evening, to come for a chat and perhaps try taking part in one of the two different activities we run weekly as well as a healthy meal.

We are looking for Bank Workers to provide cover in the Guildford Safe Haven café.

The purpose of the café is to provide an alternative to people who are currently attending A&E when they suffer a mental health crisis.

Additionally, the café provides a safety net for people to help them reaching crisis point.

You will be working as part of a team to provide support and facilitate a welcoming and friendly environment.

It is important that you can maintain an empathic caring and person-centred approach to the client group.

Duties are varied and will include; ensuring the café is ready and operational for opening, maintaining appropriate records of attendance and collecting any other data as required, monitoring and assessing an individual's needs in relation to their mental health, and providing general support and information as required.

Hours: 6pm-11pm
Salary: 11.00-13.00 per hour dependant on experience.

Safe Haven is open 365 days a year.
