DESCRIPTION:Create your own event. Make a difference. \nOR purchase their own ticket for a challenge (Battersea ½ marathon\, Everest Trek) in support of Oakleaf. They will need to purchase their own tickets with the organisers in order to do so. \nWhether you’re running a marathon\, climbing a mountain\, hosting a quiz night or baking your way to your fundraising goal—we’d love to have you as part of #TeamOakleaf. \nThis year\, we’re encouraging supporters to take on personal challenges to raise vital funds for mental health support. Whatever you choose to do\, your efforts help us provide counselling\, employment support and wellbeing activities to those who need it most. \nIf you don’t want to set up your own fundraising event\, but still want to support Oakleaf\, you can purchase your own event tickets with external organisers and raise money for our charity that way.   \nOur team is here to support you every step of the way with resources and encouragement. \nTell us what you’re planning! Dave is also a best-selling author\, award-winning comedian\, and mental health advocate. Expect an evening that’s both hilarious and meaningful. \nStefano Paolini\, will be headlining the evening. With over 25 years on the comedy circuit and performances around the world\, he quickly made his mark as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and BBC New Act of the Year. Known for his razor-sharp impressions\, quick wit\, and boundless energy\, Stefano has become a firm favourite on the stand-up scene. \nThe middle act will be the brilliant Benji Waterhouse. NHS psychiatrist\, award-winning comedian\, and Sunday Times best-selling author\, he brings a unique blend of stand-up and insider insight to the stage. A writer for Have I Got News for You and he is currently on a UK book tour off the back of his hugely successful debut novel; You Don’t Have to Be Mad to Work Here. The Times has described him as “the Adam Kay of mental health care”. \nJoining the line-up is award-winning international comedian Robyn Perkins\, known for blending humour with heartfelt insight.
