Hosted by the Community Matters Partnership (CMP)\, this fun\, family-friendly event is a unique chance to walk\, run\, cycle\, scoot\, or even skateboard along the airstrip at Blackbushe Airport—once the flights have stopped for the day! \nSince its launch in 2010\, participants have collectively covered an incredible 323\,000 km—that’s 200\,000 miles\, or eight times around the world—all in support of local charities like Oakleaf. \nWhat to Expect\n📅 Date: Saturday\, 20th September 2025⏰ Time: Gates open at 4:00 pm | Challenge starts at 5:15 pm📍 Location: Blackbushe Airport\, Camberley\, GU17 9LQ🏃 Distances: 3K\, 5K\, or 10K—your way! Walk\, run\, cycle\, scoot\, or skateboard. \nTake on the challenge solo or as part of a team with colleagues\, friends\, or family. The goal is to bring colleagues together for meaningful conversations about mental health while raising vital funds for Oakleaf. \n\n\n\nDate: Anytime\nTime: 9:30 AM – 10.30 AM (or a time of your preference)\nLocation: Your Workplace (or virtual) \nWhat’s Included: \n\nGuided De-stress Relaxation Session: Enjoy a recorded 30-minute guided de-stress relaxation session with Amanda Weller.\nCups & Conversations Welcome Pack: This toolkit includes discussion prompts\, mental health tips\, activities and stories from Oakleaf clients to inspire meaningful conversations.\n\nCost to take part: £5 per business or group\, which includes the pack and guided relaxation. \nYou can also purchase exclusive Oakleaf-Branded Coffee\, created in partnership with the Cotswold Coffee Collective\, with 10% of proceeds going to Oakleaf. \nWe encourage donations at your Cups & Conversations event by setting up a Just Giving page\, which will fund Oakleaf’s mental health support locally. For example: \n\n£5 could fund administration expenses for a counselling session\n£10 could fund a week of art supplies for our weekly art classes\n£25 could fund a fitness class with an experienced\, certified trainer. These classes help Oakleaf clients to rebuild their lives with a stronger sense of wellbeing.\n\nAll funds raised will go towards supporting hundreds of individuals who are managing their mental health in Surrey. \nLet’s come together over coffee\, share our experiences\, and make a difference!
