Oakleaf has expanded its Bridge the Gap Trauma-Informed Outreach Service to offer dedicated support to women across Surrey impacted by gambling-related harm, including their families and support networks.
This service provides one-to-one, community-based support through our team of Specialist Outreach Practitioners, as well as a Peer Mentoring programme that offers group-based, step-down support. Together, these create a supportive pathway toward long-term recovery, wellbeing, and resilience.
The initiative responds to recent findings from Surrey’s Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), which highlighted the unique challenges faced by women experiencing gambling-related harm and the need for more tailored, trauma-informed support.
Oakleaf is proud to be part of the Bridge the Gap Alliance, working collaboratively to reduce harm and build stronger, more inclusive support networks across the county.
