Can I attend with my child as I don’t have childcare?
Unfortunately, children are not allowed to attend Oakleaf.
What is Oakleaf’s cleaning regime?
We have two cleaners that come in 3 days a week. All communal spaces, toilets, objects, floors and touchable surfaces are disinfected and cleaned. Sanitiser is available throughout the building.
Can my friend come along too?
If your friend wants to come and support you at any Welcome Meetings or show arounds, they are more than welcome, but they will need to become a client to attend activities. If your friend would like to sign up to Oakleaf activities, they can refer themselves using the referral form on our website.
All our training, support and activities are currently free of charge aside from one-off client workshops or trips (between £3-£5) and counselling (between £5 and £25 per session based on employment status). Please visit our counselling page for more information.
What if I don’t have any money?
If you cannot afford counselling, please speak with a member of the Counselling team. We do not want payment to be a barrier and can arrange a way to make the sessions accessible. This can include providing a set number of free vouchers.
We have limited parking at our premises on Walnut Tree Close. However, there are plenty of car parks in Guildford Town Centre and there is sometimes free 2-hour parking on Walnut Tree Close. Some of our outreach venues have parking. It is always best to check with Client Services who can advise on where to park.
Can I bring my support worker?
You are more than welcome to bring your support worker to any assessments or show arounds with us. They are also welcome to support you at any of our activities.
All Oakleaf activities are non-smoking/non-vaping. We have a designated smoking area outside the building. Please do enquire about each venue’s designated smoking area.
