Safe Havens provide out of hours help and support to people and their carers who are experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress. There are five Safe Havens open in town centre locations across Surrey and north east Hampshire to residents of any district or borough within this area.
During the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the Safe Haven remains open from 6-11pm, exclusively for those experiencing a mental health crisis. It is open evenings, weekends and bank holidays and is designed to give adults a safe alternative to A&E when in crisis.
The Guildford Safe Haven is based at Oakleaf HQ and is provided in partnership with NHS Guildford and Waverley CCG and Community Connections. We are also running a virtual Safe Haven via video call, so that we can bring your care closer to home.
