Oakleaf endeavours:
- to provide the services/activities/training agreed with you;
- to be supportive and considerate;
- to treat you with respect and to be fair and reasonable;
- to provide a safe environment; to keep confidential any personal/medical information that it holds, unless we have both agreed disclosure beforehand.
The only exception to confidentiality is when we believe you or someone else is in immediate risk of harm. In these cases we may contact relevant authorities, your GP and/or your next of Kin. Oakleaf holds client personal details on file and electronically in accordance with the Data Protection Act as set out in the Fair Processing notice, a copy of which you will receive in the client handbook. If you wish Oakleaf to sign a confidentiality agreement, we will be happy to do so.
To inform you of any changes to the Service we provide to you, we need you to undertake:
- to attend on the dates and times agreed between us;
- to contact us If you are unable to attend to contact us in advance explaining why this is;
- to notify us immediately of any changes in your circumstances which affect your situation with us – e.g. contact details, health, medication; to notify us of any changes to your personal aims and ambitions;
- to follow our Health & Safety requirements while on the premises at all times;
- to attend any training to use specialist equipment and to use all equipment and tools safely;
- to take all reasonable care for the use and security of your personal possessions whilst engaged in Oakleaf activities;
- to treat Other clients, volunteers and staff with respect and consideration;
- to tell us how you find our training and support, and if you feel we could improve it;
- to not be under the influence of Alcohol or Illicit Drugs whilst attending any Oakleaf activity
