NEWS: Covid-19 Update on Oakleaf Services

Covid-19 Update: In light of England’s third national lockdown, we will remain open for clients on a limited basis with Covid-19 safety measures in place in line with the latest government guidance. 

From Wednesday 6th January 2021:

      • We will be offering one to one check in’s both on the phone and in person for anyone who needs it.
      • All group wellbeing activities will be delivered online.
      • The IT Courses will be delivered online.
      • Gardening and Upholstery training will halt for now.
      • Counselling will be delivered in line what you have agreed with your individual counsellor.

 

These changes are likely to be in place until the middle of February and we will of course update everyone as and when things change.

We are still providing daily wellbeing activities and other support online via Zoom as well as over the phone. If you are an Oakleaf client and would be interested in joining any of these sessions please send an email to Annalise Baker: annalisebaker@oakleaf-enterprise.org.

Our online Wellbeing Activities include:

    • Fitness/Home workouts

    • Pilates

    • Virtual choir

    • Book Club
    • Budgeting
    • NLP/Emotional Wellbeing
    • Women’s support group
    • ‘Check in and Chat’ group support sessions, facilitated by client services
    • Cooking and Nutrition Workshops
    • LGBTQ+ Support Group
    • Sleep Workshop
    • Low Mood Workshop

 

In addition, Client Services are offering 30 minute sessions on the phone. These can be used as a catch up chat, to give advice on how to maintain wellbeing whilst being at home and also to inform you of local support available if you are in need of extra help.

We are also currently accepting new referrals; if you are interested in receiving support from Oakleaf for the first time please complete our referral form online here, or email katiedewick@oakleaf-enterprise.org.

The Guildford Safe Haven remains open for those in crisis between 6pm-11pm every night.

In light of our Covid-19 update, we are constantly reviewing the situation and the services we are able to provide and will of course keep everyone up to date.
