Social Enterprise Assistants Toni and Chloe

“Anxiety and depression have always been present in my life. Oakleaf’s Upholstery course gave me a focus, a routine and slowly I gained confidence, which made it possible to return to work. “

“Art has always been very cathartic and rewarding to me so when Oakleaf announced an art competition I duly entered. I was one of the successful participants which meant my artwork would be used for Oakleaf’s new social enterprise. This opened the door for a fantastic opportunity to become employed as an assistant with Oakleaf at Home.”

Our clients are at the heart of what we do; celebrating the creative talent of those who attend

Oakleaf every day for training and support and helping them to take their first steps back into the workplace.

Oakleaf At Home is a certified social enterprise and a member of the national trade body Social Enterprise UK. We represent one of more than 70,000 social enterprises across Britain, working to support vulnerable individuals struggling with mental ill-health in the Surrey community.

Oakleaf Enterprise:

Oakleaf is a mental health charity based in Guildford that supports adults aged 16-67 who are struggling with their mental health. We make it our number one priority to help combat mental ill-health by providing support for clients through work-related training, wellbeing activities, counselling, and emotional support both in-person and virtually,  including art therapy, cooking & nutrition, fitness classes, choir, yoga, anxiety management workshops and many more.

Oakleaf also acts as a social enterprise, creating skill-based training for clients in garden maintenance and upholstery whilst also selling our services to the public, which enables the charity to generate additional income.
