- CPD-Accredited Digital Skills: Work-related courses covering Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Technical IT: In partnership with Cisco Networking Academy, offering programming (JavaScript, Python) and cybersecurity courses.

Gardening
Learn soft landscaping and garden maintenance by working on real gardens alongside our expert staff. Gain free hands-on experience in:
- Lawn care, weeding, planting, hedge-cutting, pruning, and leaf-tidying
- Time and cost estimation
- Tool handling, plant identification, and health & safety (classroom training)

Upholstery
Oakleaf’s ‘Introduction to Upholstery’ course, part of our wellbeing offering, is run in small groups over 4 weeks at the Oakleaf workshop.
Led by our Upholstery trainer, you’ll learn key skills like health and safety, hand tool use, and traditional upholstery techniques, including stripping down and upholstering a seat pad.
This course is perfect for those who enjoy working with their hands, are creative, or want to learn a new skill. A basic understanding of mathematics is helpful, but support will be provided.
