NEWS: Covid-19: Thank You from Oakleaf

As the Covid-19 crisis continues, all face-to-face Oakleaf services are on hold until further notice. As a result, our fundraising streams are being badly impacted; from having to cancel events to businesses cutting back on staff and charitable support. We are also aware that the lack of regular face-to-face support will have a huge impact on our clients, so we are doing as much as we possibly can to ensure that they can access online support via phone or video – all of which would not be possible without your continued support.

We therefore want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to the individuals, businesses, community organisations and trusts who are supporting us through this difficult period.

For example;

Thank you to Lovetts Solicitors for supporting Oakleaf as their chosen charity for 2020. They have also gone above and beyond with an extra donation of £2,000 in response to Covid-19.

Thank you to The Margaret Litchfield Trust for funding all the costs of one of our critical front-line staff for one month during this crisis as well as funding Oakleaf’s high phone bill over the next few months.

Thank you also to the Community Foundation of Surrey for helping fund essential running costs for our client services department, as we deliver support to vulnerable clients remotely.

These are but a few of our many incredible supporters. So, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our emergency appeal for funding.

We currently only have enough financial resources to guarantee our services for the next several months, so if you would like to help support our fight for better mental health in the Surrey community, we would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you.
